We are pleased to announce the appointment of Klein Scientific as the distributor for Argolight in Australia and New Zealand.
Argolight specialises in standardised and traceable test slides designed to evaluate the accuracy and calibration of fluorescence microscopes. These test targets mimic specific fluorescence patterns, allowing users to assess resolution, sensitivity, contrast, and colour fidelity. By using Argolight's test slides, researchers can optimise instrument settings, monitor performance, and compare results across different microscopes or laboratories.
Qualification of microscope performance can be difficult. Samples can show high variation, or standards may require difficult preparation protocols. Argolight make quality control and instrument performance measurement easy to measure and track. Argolight’s products contain extremely stable fluorescent patterns with precisely defined features. Each pattern is designed to assess one or several parameters of a microscope: resolution, field uniformity, intensity response, co-registration accuracy between channels and more.
After measurement, Argolight’s Daybook software automatically analyses the recorded images to quantify your microscope, allowing you to quantify instrument performance.
Now, Argolight’s slides can also include a laser/excitation light meter! This allows you to measure excitation power where it matters - at the sample.
